Karina joined Wordsmyth Theatre at Main Street Theatre for their reading of EUTHANASIA: AN ALMOST MUSICAL ... by Gail Parent and Stacy Sherman. The reading was directed by Jennifer Decker, Founder of Mildred's Umbrella. Karina took on the lead role of Dr. Meg Carr, working along side a vibrant cast of Houston actors. The cast had the opportunity to meet playwright and Emmy winning screen writer, Gail Parent. Parent has written for iconic television series The Carol Burnett Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show Show and The Golden Girls .

The third chapter of the narrated audio drama, PROJECT GNOSIS was released with Karina voicing the role of crime boss, Ate Dalisay. This cyberpunk, urban fantasy podcast explores myths and legends from around the world and features an international cast of voice talent.
